Detox Day 3 – 3/17/10

5:30 – Workout #1

  • Speed intervals, even though they weren't that fast.  5 rounds of 400m @ 7.3-7.5 mph and 400 m @ 5.0-5.5.  Total warmup, run, and cool down was a 5K.

7:00 – whey protein powder w/ water – I'm getting used to the bland taste.

9:00 – 2 egg white omelet with kale, brussel sprouts, and asparagus
1:40 – late lunch because i was busy and nervous!  lol.  veggie soup
5:00 – half a grapefruit and a few pieces of seaweed
7:00 – two small bowls of cauliflower fried rice and sweet potato fries.  does that mean its 1 large bowl?  haha, anyways, it was freakin' good!  although the cauliflower really doesn't really have the texture of fried rice, all the seasoning and stuff makes it taste good.

    The WODs were announced today for the Crossfit sectionals next weekend. Nervous and excited!!
