@Home WOD

18 Feb

My little munchkin’ sure knows how to unravel Mommy’s Friday plans. He started to cry at 4:15!! I was awake already, just waiting to go to the gym, but I felt so bad to leave him with the hubby. My hubby is not a morning person, and he’s been working late lately, so I didn’t want to go workout while there was a crying baby at home. We got him some milk, and he past out at 4:45.

I love cuddling with my munchkin’ but I wanted to get a WOD in because I didn’t workout yesterday. I was lying there thinking in my head…what should I do. I wanted something quick, not too easy, and would break me a sweat. I have this little thing sitting in the garage:

I don’t think I’ve used it since last year…middle of last year! That has got to change! So here’s what I came up with:

4 RFT:

  • 20 KB Swings(16Kg)
  • 10 push ups
  • 20 Air Squats
  • I was going to make it 5 rounds, but decided last minute to only make it 4. As long I didn’t switch the WOD in between the workout, then I didn’t feel like I was cheating myself.

    Result:

    Too bad I didn’t go completely unbroken on the last round of KB swings. I went up to 15, and stopped for a bit. That’s what I hate about myself…Why can’t I push it harder!?!?! But I felt great after, and now can start my day. TGIF Everyone! Let’s hope the eats stay clean too! Actually, I know it will. 🙂
